Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of roles across different industries. I am extremely passionate about all of the projects I have worked on, and my hope is that this passion really shines throughout all of my work. Here are some of my past projects below.
As a recent graduate from Ryerson's School of Urban and Regional Planning, I have gained a broad perspective of Urban Planning from the lens of the Municipality, Consultant, and Developer.
Engagement Ambassador
February 2019- September 2019
Leading discussions with community stakeholders regarding the redevelopment process of Cloverdale Mall in Etobicoke has allowed me to develop strong facilitation skills. I took part in communicating with the public inside the mall to discuss the what the future of the mall could be like, the development process, and to analyse reactions to the presented information. In addition, we also had various workshops and events with community stakeholders to develop a strong community relationship. This experience has given me an opportunity to strengthen my communication and facilitation skills, while giving me a new perspective in the development process.
Research Analyst
September 2018- December 2018
I worked on a wide array of tasks with projects on varying scales focused on analyzing data in understanding the future of the Real Estate Industry across Canada. With the consultancy's specialization in cultural planning, economic development, and facilitation I had exposure to many facets of related to urban planning. I gained skills in facilitation, cultural mapping, and understanding local economies.
Heritage Planner- Summer Student
May 2018- August 2019
I was responsible for responding to public inquiries and spoke in public meetings with the Heritage Advisory Committee and the Committee of Adjustment. Internally, I received, commented and spoke on heritage related matters in the development process with other staff members and at pre-consultations. I contributed towards making recommendations and creating staff reports to town council and committees.
